A release profile is a configuration for a specific release that contains all of the checkout profiles, tasks, proxies and monitoring details associated with a particular product, eg. Supreme Tee
Creating a Release Profile
Follow the simple steps below to create your first release.
Step 1: General Information
To create a release, click Create New Release
You will then be prompted to select locale. Choose your locale from the list (America, Europe or Japan) and click the tick button.
You will now be redirected to a new page called General Information. Here, you will be required to add a title, product keyword, color keyword and global proxy. You will also need to choose your checkout delay.
The title of your page is just the name of the release, for example Supreme Tee. Choose the item from the product page – you can select any of the products from the drop-down or use all or new.
You will then need to input your product keyword and colour keyword – find out more about keywords here. You are able to leave the product link blank in favour of using keywords.
Once you have filled in your General Information section and saved it, you need to then click Checkout Profiles. In this section, you are able to add your checkout profile(s), as well as editing or deleting them. Click Add Profile and you will then be taken to the Add Task Profile page. You can learn more about editing the Task Profile section here.
Once you have completed the Checkout Profiles section, make sure you click Save Release.
Not sure about proxies? Take a read of our Proxy Guide before proceeding with the next step
Step 3: Proxies
Once you have filled in your General Information and Checkout Profiles sections and saved it, you need to then click on the Proxies tab. In this section, you are able to add your proxies, test them and assign the number of tasks per proxy. Click Add Proxy.
This is where you need to fill in your proxy details.
This is the correct format you need for entering your proxy details. Click save.
Once you have saved your proxies, you will then be taken back to the main Proxies tab. Here, you can adjust how many proxies you would like to use per task. You can read more about our recommend Task to Proxy Ratio here. You can also test your proxies here to ensure that they are working correctly. Just click Test Proxies.
As an example, you can see that the proxies are now being tested. You will be notified whether they are successful or not.
Click save release once you have added all of your proxies and assigned the number of tasks per proxy. You will then be taken to the main home page and are ready for the release.
